What is your style of photography?

Ade’s style of wedding photography can be described as “reportage, candid, momentous, documentary.”  As a result he produces sentimental, authentic, fun, and timeless images. Social Media would have you believe that everything at your wedding should be flawless. We believe that everything should be real, authentic, and vulnerable. We seek to avoid trends and show real emotions. A particular lighting style, a trend, a pose (cite duck face) may not last forever but a human emotion such as a tear of joy will be a tear of joy 100 years from now. We believe that you are as beautiful as you are: your baby fat, double chin, bloodshot finger, your missing tooth etc. are beautiful and we will document it as such.

Do we need an album?

A resounding yes! An investment in a luxury wedding and/or engagement album is an investment in your future. It is the only thing from your wedding that will last forever. Your dress, cake, or shoes will not last forever. Nor will digital files last, computer systems are always being updated, the floppy disc, zip disc, as well as the CD is no more. USB is on its way out with the introduction of USB-C. The only thing that lasts forever is printed items, your album will last forever and be inherited by your grandchildren. See albums here...

How long does it take to get our images?

Digital photography are available within 8-12 weeks. After you have approved your album design, your album is delivered within 6-8 weeks.

What kind of photography equipment do you use?

Nikon’s professional-grade camera and lenses.

Do you and Gina travel out of state and overseas for weddings?

Most certainly, we love international weddings and out-of-town weddings. We have traveled across North America and the Caribbean for clients. For overseas and out-of-town travel, the cost of lodging and travel is added to your package, then submitted for you for your approval.

My venue needs insurance, do you have insurance?

We are a PA state-registered business: Ade & Gina Studios, LLC., we have liability insurance as well as collect tax for the state; we’d be happy to send a copy to your venue.

How would you describe your style of Makeup?

Classic, Elegant, and Timeless. Our goal is to make you look like your natural self. This way when you look in the mirror or your at your wedding photographs, you will confidently say: “this looks like me.” Additionally, 50 years from now your makeup in your photographs will not be outdated.

Dr. Gina since you are a physician, is makeup your hobby?

Beauty, skincare, health, and wellness is an intricate part of my life. I have fused my passions for health and beauty to create a  Medical Spa, Serenity Aesthetics & Wellness that empowers women via. beauty, wellness, and self-care.  At my skincare practice located in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, I help brides prior to their wedding with skin rejuvenation, chemical peels, laser hair removal, hirsutism, microneedeling, scarring, sunburn etc. to prepare their skin for their wedding day. After helping with their skincare, I am then able to apply timeless makeup. How do I get my Pre-Wedding Skin Care done before my wedding?

Then send us a message or give us a call (215) 278-6638, once you decide to move forward, you will come into our office located at 8133 Germantown Avenue, 19118 | tele: (215) 278-6638.  Dr. Gina will create a custom regiment specifically for you so she can get your skin ready, before she does your makeup on your wedding day.

What type of makeup do you use?

We use high-end makeup products, quality grade brushes, and lighting equipment (specifically made for makeup artists,) that works best with, as well as complements your wedding photographer’s (Ade) lighting.

How do I pick a makeup look that suits me best?

Do your research: look at movies and magazines, specifically for people who have a similar style, facial structure, skin color, and ethnicity as you.  In addition, consider a look that complements a timeless and soft glam; heavy makeup will look dated 10-20 years from now. Once you have decided, save those images and email them to Dr. Gina.

Do I need a bridal makeup trial and if so why?

A resounding yes! At the bridal trial, we discuss what you want and how that particular look will suit you best. We go back and forth until you get exactly what you want, so on wedding day we know exactly what to do.

What’s the difference between doing the makeup myself, using a friend, or a bridesmaid, or Dr. Gina, a professional Makeup Artist?

  • We use the industry’s best makeup and makeup tools.
  • We have over 13 years of experience, as well as we have been tutored by one of the makeup industry’s top professional artists.
  • We know the correct type of light in regards to color temperature, intensity, and position to use in order to complement the photographer’s camera, lighting techniques, and style.
  • We also know where to set you up in the room, during bridal prep to maximize the photographer’s chances of capturing great photographs.
